treatment for injuries to the spine, shoulder,
elbow, wrist/hand, hip, knee and foot/ankle. We offer a small
town atmosphere with one on one care, without sacrificing
experience & professionalism.
WHAT IS
PHYSICAL THERAPY
Physical therapy is the
therapeutic use of heat, electricity, traction, massage and
exercise to treat injuries to muscles, tendons, ligaments,
and joints, including: active, passive and resistive exercises to restore
normal movement and function.
WHAT YOU NEED PRIOR TO ATTENDING THERAPY
Prescription Pad
Print out and
take to your Doctor to fill out.
A Physicians or
Nurse Practitioners order for therapy. Proof of insurance.
Current Drivers Licenses or other photo I.D. We recommend
wearing loose attire for freedom of movement during the
evaluation. Normally you do not need someone to drive you home
from therapy unless your physician has specifically instructed
you to take your pain medication prior to attending physical
therapy.
